About Us

WHERE DID IT ALL START AND WHAT WE DO TODAY

I started setting out in 1993 on a three metre long drawing board where the tools of the setter out back then were a pencil, 'T' square set and a compass, and for those that remember that far back, a box of erasers for all the revisions!
A PC and Autocad appeared in 1994 but it was quicker to keep using the drawing board at the time as the learning curve for Autocad would have slowed down production, then one weekend the drawing boards were removed and a company wide commitment to Computer Aided Design was made and I personally embraced it, others hated it.
Now with over 30 years of Autocad experience I have build up an enviable level of Autocad knowledge and with 12 years sub contract setting out experience for multiple companies I have a true and deep understanding of joinery and shopfitting production requirements.

Today I am still learning myself and enjoy passing my knowledge on to colleagues whenever asked. Most importantly I am developing a tool to assist us all with site surveys and while its only in the development stages, I look forward to bringing a product into the marketplace that will simplify site surveys.
